18-Year-Old Woman Jailed for Brutal Attack on Love Rival

Authorities have jailed an 18-year-old woman named Princess Owusu-Ansah from Royston, Hertfordshire, for live-streaming a vicious attack on a love rival. The incident occurred on February 2 at the victim’s home in East Dulwich, where Owusu-Ansah poured boiling water over the victim and stabbed her in the leg.

In the disturbing footage, 18-year-old Owusu-Ansah accuses the victim of seeing her boyfriend and throws punches before pouring boiling water on the victim, who tries to protect herself with a duvet. Finally, Owusu-Ansah threatens the victim with a knife and destroys sentimental items in her room before the victim manages to escape and call for help.

A member of the public saw the live-streamed video and contacted the police. As a result, Owusu-Ansah pleaded guilty to grievous bodily harm with intent and criminal damage at Inner London Crown Court, leading to a three-year imprisonment sentence by Croydon Magistrates’ Court.

Detective Constable Abigail Ellyatt praised the victim’s strength and courage and hoped the sentencing would comfort her. However, the incident serves as a chilling reminder of the dangers of jealousy and violence in relationships.
