A young lady identified as Mirabel Ladi Agada Abraham, aged 25, was tragically killed by unknown assailants in Abuja. According to a Facebook post by Abdullahi Haruna on April 27, 2023, Mirabel went missing on April 7 after leaving work at Gwarimpa and failing to return home. Her mutilated body was discovered a week later along Gwarimpa road, having been brutally stabbed.
Mirabel was laid to rest on April 23 in her hometown of Igah Ocheba in the Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State. Her death is a stark reminder of the dangers that lurk in the world and the need to stay vigilant.
It is unfortunate that someone as harmless and innocent as Mirabel had to fall victim to such a heinous crime. She was just an ordinary young woman working hard to make a living in Abuja. Sadly, the lady never made it home that fateful day in April. Instead, her life was brutally taken by people who share the same air as her.
