Anita Okoye returns to Nigeria with her three kids, delighting fans and followers who have been eagerly anticipating her arrival.
The ex-wife of singer Paul Okoye shared a video on Instagram documenting their journey from the plane to Lagos airport, captioning it simply, “Back to base.” The video showcased Anita and her children, Andre, Nadia, and Nathan, enjoying moments of the trip together.
Fans and colleagues flooded the comment section with warm messages. Peter Okoye welcomed her back, writing, “Welcome, fam,” while others praised her for choosing peace over drama and applauded her dedication to her children. Tania Omotayo and several fans expressed excitement, noting the joy of her return for the festive season.
Anita Okoye previously filed for divorce from Paul Okoye in 2022, citing cheating, separation, absentee fatherhood, fraud, and other difficulties. The Abuja High Court granted their divorce a year later, awarding her $20,000 monthly and several properties. Despite their split, the former couple maintained an amicable relationship for some time, until August 2024, when they unfollowed each other following Paul’s purchase of a second mansion in the U.S. for his new wife, Ivy Ifeoma, with whom he also welcomed a child.
