Veteran Yoruba actor Prince Adewale Adeyemo is dead. Adeyemo reportedly passed on after a brief illness on Monday.
Fellow actor Kunle Afod confirmed his death on his Instagram page.
Alongside a picture of the deceased, Afod wrote,
“Hmmmm God you know best RIP Prince Adewale Adeyemo.
“He passed on early hours of today after a brief illness. God will comfort all his family, friends, and colleagues.”
NaijaPr recalls that the Nollywood industry has lost six actors this month.
Adewale Adeyemo was a Yoruba thespian popular in the Nigerian movie industry, also known as Nollywood. He was known for his roles in Yoruba-language movies and TV shows and was considered one of the talented acts of his time.
Adewale appeared in several movies and was well-loved by his fans. May his soul rest in peace and May God comfort his family during this period.
