Brighton has set a price tag of more than £70m for each of Moises Caicedo and Alexis Mac Allister this summer.

Arsenal bid £70m for Caicedo in January and still holds an interest in the player; Liverpool has been positively pitching to Mac Allister’s camp.

Liverpool have ‘stepped up their efforts’ to sign Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton and Hove Albion in the summer transfer window.

Mac Allister played a crucial role in Argentina’s victory at the World Cup in Qatar in December. His exceptional form on the south coast has reportedly linked with several top Premier League clubs. However, it is anticipated that he will depart from Brighton between May and June to coincide with Jurgen Klopp’s tendency to finalize the signing of transfer targets before pre-season.

On the other hand, Caicedo agreed on new terms until 2027 in March, with the club having the option of an extra year. Arsenal, who saw their £70m bid rebuffed for the Ecuador international in the winter window, retain a strong interest in him.

Brighton will reportedly let the players go, as they routinely identify internal or external replacements for every position.
