Blessing ‘CEO’ Okoro, a popular relationship expert, has reportedly been released from prison custody after being held since March 31. She was remanded in prison custody by Justice Yelim Bogoro of the Federal High Court in Lagos until May 30 after being arraigned on a six-count charge of alleged cyber-bullying, libel, and for exhibiting uncensored movies.

Her lawyer filed a bail application on her behalf, and Justice Tijjani Ringim of the Federal High Court in Lagos granted her bail in the sum of N10 million with two sureties in like sum on April 4. However, concerns were raised that she had been unable to fulfil her bail conditions since then.

Taking to Instagram to share the news of her release, Blessing expressed her gratitude to her followers. She also hinted at a forthcoming statement.

It remains to be seen what the next steps will be in this case. However, Blessing’s release from prison is undoubtedly a welcome development for her and her supporters.
