Nigerian actress Funke Akindele has revealed her plans to re-enter politics, stating her intention to contest elections again.
Speaking during an interview on the ‘WithChude’ podcast, Akindele explained her decision to pursue a political career, emphasising her desire to give back to society.
She shared that her earlier foray into politics was driven by the need to support and make a difference.
Funke Akindele, who previously ran as the deputy governorship candidate in Lagos State, reflected on the challenges she faced, including political violence, which only strengthened her resolve.
She also expressed admiration for female politicians like Abike Dabiri, praising their ability to command respect and navigate the political landscape with authority.
