Super Eagles midfielders, Kelechi Iheanacho and Onyinye Ndidi featured for Leicester City to end their 9-game ‘winless‘ streak.

Leicester had picked just one draw from their last ten games, losing nine in the process. However, Dean Smith was looking to end their poor form when they welcomed the Wolves to the King Power Stadium.

Wolves scored through Matheus Cunha in the 13th minute. But Leicester City got back into the tie 20 minutes later via a penalty.

The Super Eagles star made no mistake from the spot. He sent Sa the wrong way to pull one back for Leicester City and make it 1-1.

Iheanacho had a great game, and his runs and adept touches helped to keep the Wolverhampton defense line on their toes. He was taken off in the 88th minute for  Nampalys Mendy.

Ndidi was introduced into the game in the 67th minute, and his presence was impactful, as eight minutes later, Timothy Castagne scored to make it 2-1 for the Foxes.

Leicester is up to 17th while Wolves stay 13th, six points clear of the drop zone with six games to go.
