Manchester United forward Anthony Martial is out of Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup final against Manchester City due to injury.

The France international strained his hamstring towards the end of Sunday’s 2-1 win against Fulham at Old Trafford.

Assessments have since revealed a muscle tear that rules the 27-year-old out of the FA Cup showdown at Wembley.
Martial has missed 57 games through injury in the last three seasons and earlier completed a full 90 minutes in January 2021.
Recent reports suggest that due to his frequent injuries, Manchester United will let the Frenchman go should they be able to sign a top attacker this summer.

United already had fitness doubts over Antony, who is in a race to overcome an ankle injury.

Meanwhile, Erik ten Hag has promised that his side will give everything to dent Manchester City’s Treble bid and secure a second piece of silverware this season.

Ten Hag, whose side beat City 2-1 in the League in January, admitted his team would have to play “the perfect game” to win Pep Guardiola’s men again.
