Substitute teacher-caught on video fighting a student

A substitute teacher who was caught on video fighting a student over a confiscated phone has decided to quit her teaching career for good. Xaviera Steele, the former teacher, made the decision after the altercation that took place on April 17. While many people online were suggesting she should start an OnlyFans account due to her exposed backside during the fight, Steele categorically stated that she won’t be joining the platform. She further added that she grew up in a church and is not that kind of lady.

The video of the fight, which went viral on Twitter, showed the student attacking Steele. The attack came after she confiscated the student’s phone. Steele was able to restrain the student and called for help before the altercation could escalate any further. The incident generated mixed reactions, with some people supporting the teacher’s actions while others felt that she overreacted.

Steele defended her actions in a separate video. She stated that she has never been attacked by a student in her 22 years of teaching. She also revealed that the school had experienced several incidents in recent months. This includes a teacher being held at gunpoint and two others being knocked out by students. Steele said that she could not put her life or livelihood in danger any longer. As a result, she has decided to say goodbye to the profession she loves.

The incident highlights the challenges that teachers face on a daily basis. A lot of which includes dealing with students who are disrespectful or violent. While some people may criticize Steele for her actions, it’s important to recognize the difficult situations that teachers often find themselves in and the need to support them in their work.
