Award-winning music star Wizkid has resumed his long-standing feud with fellow Nigerian artist, Davido.
This time, the drama unfolded on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), where Wizkid took direct shots at Davido, reigniting a rivalry that has captivated fans for years.
The latest spat began when Wizkid announced the release of his first single of the year. An X user responded to the announcement, questioning whether Wizkid could sell a song without dissing Davido: “So if you no beef @davido, your song won’t sell?” Wizkid quickly replied, stating that he doesn’t engage with “wack niggas” and described Davido as lacking talent. He even gave Davido a new moniker, “Frigodo,” boldly declaring that no one could challenge him.
Not long after, Nigerian singer Dammy Krane joined the fray. In response to Wizkid’s comments, Dammy Krane questioned who “Frigodo” was, implying it was Davido, whom he referred to as a debtor. Dammy Krane and Davido have had a rocky relationship for years, with the former accusing Davido of owing him money. Though Davido has highlighted the support he gave Dammy in the past, including providing him with accommodation, the debt dispute continues to fuel tensions.
Dammy Krane’s recent apology to Davido after their feud didn’t seem to hold, as he has now resumed taking jabs at the “Omo Baba Olowo” singer. Adding fuel to the fire, Krane called out Davido for allegedly dodging payment for a service and referred to past incidents, including claims about Davido’s involvement in the death of a mutual friend.

Wizkid and Davido’s long-running feud often spills into their private lives, with personal attacks that go beyond the music.
