In the early Saturday game, Manchester United trounced Everton 2-0, but the victory was overshadowed by Marcus Rashford’s limping off the field just before the end of the game. After going off holding his groin at Old Trafford, Rashford appeared to have sustained a serious injury.
After straining for a high ball, the 25-year-old looked to grasp his right leg. He was replaced with Wout Weghorst for the final 10 minutes of the game. Weghorst had an excellent overall performance for the Red Devils. They clinched three points thanks to Scott McTominay and Anthony Martial. However, Erik ten Hag will no doubt be worried about Rashford’s condition. Especially as he looked in a lot of pain as he strutted off the pitch and wasn’t walking comfortably at all.
