19-year-old Chibuike Charles Samson has been in fine form for Lobi Stars in Lagos’s Naija Super Eight contest.
The Minna-born star won the game for Lobi Stars against Rivers United with the last kick.
He is largely called “Osimhen”, by fans as he seems to look a lot like the Napoli star.
Lobi Stars provided one of the biggest shocks in the Naija Super Eight contest in Lagos, beating Rivers United 2-1.
Lobi Stars came from behind to win the tie, with their winning goal coming in the 7th minute in extra time.
In an interview with Punch, Chibuike says:
Everyone thinks I’m Osimhen. Countless times every day when I step out, people call me Osimhen. Somehow, it’s refreshing but on the other hand I feel bad because I don’t even think Osimhen knows me.
Lobi Stars take on Yobe Desert Stars on Tuesday by 2 pm, while Rivers United play against Akwa United much later on the same day. All the games will be played at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos State.
