Job Description
We are currently seeking to employ a suitably qualified Grants Manager who will be responsible for leading the fund-raising team to make the grant process work effectively and efficiently, in an organization. He/she will be tasked with developing programs to support the organization’s strategic direction, as well as creating and managing long-term goals, and will also oversee developing budgets and operating plans for programs and writing program funding proposals.
Responsibilities
- Managing and supporting the grants requirement and implementation for the organization Creating and managing long-term goals.
- Developing and monitoring budgets and operating plans for the program.
- Writing program funding proposals to guarantee uninterrupted delivery of services.
- Working on strategy with the marketing teamIdentify and develop strategies to optimize the grants administration process Designing grant programs.
- Determining funding needs.
- Meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services.
- Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
- Research funding opportunities.
- Reporting to the board of directors.
- Coordinating and engaging with grant writers.
- Identifying support agencies and Optimizing the grant administration process.
- Managing timelines and deliverables.
- Tracking grant applications.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the project team, liaising with other Managers in the stakeholders to provide input into weekly/monthly reports for the Project Management Office and Project Board.

- Excellent project management skills and organizational skills.
- with experience in managing and supervising administrative projects.
- Possess excellent organizational skills and stakeholder management skills.
- Methodical and strategic thinking.
- Budgeting and accounting experience.
- Computer literacy.
- Knowledge of auditing policies.
- Knowledge of donor agencies.
- Good interpersonal, presentation skills, and networking skills.
- High degree of accuracy in executing work.
- Ability to schedule work and deliver to tight deadlines.
- Good understanding of the organization’s overall business and its objectives.
- Possess good knowledge of planning and strategizing financial and budgeting issues.
- Ability to work within a team and provide support to the junior staff.
- Ability to perform in cross-functional team approach and job responsibilities.
