Job Description
Project Management. Manage the pilot of the Cooling As A Service concept using cold rooms Business Development. Promote Ecofrost Cold Room and SureChill refrigerators in the agri sectors market research. Understand the need for cold chain in the Agri sector in Nigeria
Responsibilities
- Carry on work started by Ecozen
- Understand the agri market needs for cold chain solutions (fruit, vegetables, fish, meat…)
- Understand the players in that space and what are the current offerings
- Understand the cost of running a normal cold room with grid and generators and compare it with the cost of running the Ecofrost cold room
- Understand the economics of Cold Room As A Service, what can be charged for space vs. benefit brought to the farmers
- Understand the economics of operational leasing of Cold Room
- Prospect for a local community where to run the pilot of Cold Room As A Service where we rent the space
- Put a project plan together with the support from SureChill and Ecozen project managers
- Prospect for selling Cold Room Cash and list potential interests of leasing.
- Engage with leasing companies that could support the leasing locally
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of work experience
- Have done project management showing the ability to put up a project from scratch
- Some exposure to the agriculture business in Nigeria
- Ideally some exposure to the is needed cold chain need for agriculture in Nigeria
- Agronomist background.
- Entrepreneurial mindset
