Renowned Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, has shared her heartfelt desire to find happiness once again following the devastating loss of singer and rapper, Mohbad. Despite more than two weeks passing since the artist’s untimely demise, Tonto remains deeply affected, emphasizing that her happiness hinges on achieving justice for Mohbad.
In a poignant social media post accompanied by a photo of herself smiling, the philanthropic actress expressed her yearning for happiness, stating,
I want to be happy like this again. Maybe when we finally get justice for Mohbad.”
Her dedicated fans flooded the comment section with words of praise and support for her relentless efforts in the pursuit of justice for the late singer.
Since the tragic news of Mohbad’s passing, Tonto Dikeh has been among the few celebrities boldly calling for accountability, specifically targeting Naira Marley and his associates.
Tonto has been actively involved in the fight for justice, lending her voice to organizing a candlelight procession in his honour and meeting with the grieving family of the late singer.
Recently, Tonto Dikeh, along with fellow celebrities Iyabo Ojo and Senator Elisha Abbo, paid a visit to Mohbad’s family in Lekki. Additionally, she collaborated with Empress Njamah to organize a touching candlelight procession for him in Abuja.
Through her foundation, Tonto Dikeh has extended support to Mohbad’s son by offering a scholarship and pledged to provide his wife with a monthly allowance.
Notably, Tonto Dikeh openly criticized Pastor Tunde Bakare for his remarks on Mohbad’s death. The clergyman had spoken about the consequences of one’s actions in a sermon in Leicester, United Kingdom. In response, Tonto highlighted his silence on the unholy activities of his fellow religious leaders and urged him to maintain consistency in addressing such issues.
