In a significant development for Nigerian football officiating, FIFA has officially approved 30 Nigerian referees to feature on international lists in the upcoming year 2024. This diverse group includes 11 referees, 11 assistant referees, four beach soccer referees, and four futsal referees.
The list of approved referees for international duty in 2024 comprises prominent names such as Basheer Salisu, Nurudeen Abubakar, and Akintoye Yemisi Eunice. Additionally, assistant referees like Pwadutakam Samuel and Terah Kabenda Beauty have received FIFA’s nod for their contributions.
