Peruzzi quickly refuted the claim, reposting the tweet with a caption indicating it was edited. He maintained that the tweet was doctored, clarifying the situation through a series of posts on X.
However, despite the Twitter user’s subsequent apology, expressing regret for spreading false information and promising not to repeat such actions, Peruzzi seems determined to pursue legal recourse. He implored his followers to share his statement, indicating his intention to take the matter to court.
