Nigerian rapper Ice Prince has refuted claims of being in a long-term relationship with media personality Moet Abebe.
Last week, reports surfaced that Moet Abebe had revealed Ice Prince as her boyfriend of 12 years, sparking curiosity and reactions from fans.
In an interview with Almera Danjuma on The DateBizz, Ice Prince clarified that he is currently not in any relationship, emphasizing that his focus is on his music career and personal growth. He admitted to being a “lover boy” who falls deeply in love but expressed difficulties in finding love lately due to his hectic schedule and personal circumstances.
Ice Prince acknowledged that relationships require emotional and financial investment, which he feels unable to commit to at this moment. He cited his recent album release as occupying much of his time and mental space, making it challenging to maintain a romantic relationship without causing emotional distress to his partner.
Reflecting on past relationships, Ice Prince opened up about his past experiences, including his relationships with singer Eva Alordiah and Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson. These relationships, though significant, faced challenges primarily due to busy schedules and personal differences.
Despite Moet Abebe’s earlier statement, which many interpreted as sarcasm or light-hearted banter, Ice Prince’s stance on his relationship status remains clear: he is currently prioritizing his career and personal development before committing to a serious relationship.
