Innov8 is a focal point for Innovation Startup Incubation, Technology Transfer, Knowledge and Skill Impartation, Prototype Development, and Fabrication. Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or any accredited Software Design degree.
- Minimum of 2 years experience.
Skills:
- Front-end technology: Expertise in front-end technologies, including JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, and third-party libraries such as React JS, Angular, jQuery, and LESS.
- Development languages: Knowledge of server-side programming languages including Net, Java, Ruby, and Python.
- Database and cache: Familiarity with DBMS technology, including SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, and MySQL, and caching mechanisms such as Redis, Memcached, and Varnish.
- Basic design ability: Knowledge of UI/UX and basic prototype design.
- Server: Experience working with Nginx or Apache servers with a solid background in Linux.
Competencies:
- Ability to interface with other departments in the company to ensure effective communications of new product development and continuous engineering activities
- Ability to thrive in a cross-functional and cross-cultural work environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills – must be able to interface successfully with other engineers and non-technical personnel.
- Good project management skills including developing project plans and timelines, and tracking project progress.
- Ability to rapidly learn new concepts with little or no supervision.
Remuneration
Salary Range: Open (Initially dependent on experience, thereafter on performance).
