Role Description
We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Java Developer to work on a contract basis in Lagos with the flexibility to work remotely. As a Full Stack Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying high-performance, scalable web applications using Java, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript. You will use your experience building RESTful web services, deploying applications to the cloud, and working with databases, to ensure quality and efficiency of development deliverables. This is a hybrid role, implying that the role is located in Lagos but some work from home is acceptable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- At least 5 years of experience as a Full Stack Java Developer
- Experience building high performance, scalable, and responsive web applications using Java, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript
- Expertise in developing RESTful web services and working with databases
- Experience with various Java frameworks such as Spring Boot and Hibernate
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React
- Experience with AWS cloud services including EC2, S3, and RDS preferred
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology and DevOps practices
- Excellent problem-solving, time management, and communication skills
