Job Description
- The candidate is responsible for optimizing the presence and performance of products in retail stores.
- This role involves creating and maintaining attractive product displays, managing inventory, and fostering strong relationships with store personnel to drive sales and meet merchandising objectives.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that stores and shelves are stocked with the right types and quantities of products
- Develop and implement effective product displays and promotional setups in retail locations
- Monitor sales performance and inventory levels, making adjustments to displays and stock as needed
- Regularly update displays to reflect current promotions, seasonal themes, or new product launches
- Build and maintain positive relationships with store managers and staff to facilitate effective product placement and promotions
- Complete and submit regular reports on merchandising activities, sales performance, and inventory status
- Address customer concerns and feedback promptly to ensure satisfaction and effective product representation.
Qualification
- Minimum of OND in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field
- Previous experience in merchandising, retail sales, or a similar role is preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to lift and move products, set up displays, and stand for extended period
- Familiarity with the local market and customer base is advantageous
- Up-to-date with the latest merchandising trends and best practices.
