Nollywood actress Angela Okorie is celebrating her son, Chamberline Orizu, as he marks another year today, September 5th, 2024.
Angela, proud of her son, shared a touching message, recalling the moment she named him Kasiemobi Chamberline Orizu. The actress, who is both a devoted mother and a popular Nollywood figure, offered prayers for her son’s elevation, protection, and divine wisdom. Her words expressed her deep love and hope for Chamberline’s success and prosperity in life.
Angela’s post reads:
Hip hip hip hurrah! It’s your birthday, son @chamberlineorizu. On this day, you came into this world and we named you Kasiemobi Chamberline Orizu. I prophesy that you will live and prosper beyond human expectations. You are a blessing to your generation with uncommon grace. May the Lord elevate you, guide you, and broaden your understanding in all pursuits. I love you more than life itself, my champ. Happy birthday, son.”_
This is not the first time Angela has openly shared details about her family life. Last year, she revealed the reasons behind her divorce from her ex-husband, Chukwuma Orizu. Angela explained that while Chukwuma supported her, his family’s opposition to her acting career and their restrictive rules ultimately led to the breakdown of their marriage.
Angela also made headlines recently for discussing her concerns about sending her son to study abroad. She expressed apprehension over the influence of Western culture, particularly the teachings on homosexuality, stating this as the reason she prefers to keep her son closer to home.
Earlier this year, the actress had to address a disturbing situation involving her former personal assistant, who had been extorting people using her son’s name. Angela expressed outrage and threatened legal action against the individual for such misconduct.
