Former beauty queen Anna Ebiere Banner has faced backlash after posting a video on Instagram where she vibed to her baby daddy, Flavour’s song “Golibe,” a track in which she was featured.
Dressed elegantly in traditional Igbo attire, Anna shared the clip with the song playing in the background. However, her video didn’t sit well with many social media users who accused her of still being attached to Flavour, despite him being married.
One commenter, Utonwaoma, criticized her actions, saying, “Ever since that video of Flavour and his wife during their daughter’s birthday, you have been restless. If you like use the latest song, he won’t marry you.”
Another, Agba Mama, expressed disapproval: “Why the obsession? Must it be that song? Women, learn to move on. Some women are not falling anytime soon.” Amaka Ikenga chimed in, adding, “You are beautiful, but this video looks like you’re seeking attention. Fine girl, do better.”
Despite the criticism, some fans defended Anna. Golden Ifeoma wrote, “All you trolls need to have sense. The song was made for her. If that bothers you, sorry for you.” Another user, Anna_p, bluntly stated, “Flavour has not claimed any wife. She’s forever Golibe!”
The video comes after recent online buzz surrounding Flavour and his wife, Sandra Okagbue. Last month, the couple made headlines with their public display of affection at their daughter’s 10th birthday celebration, further fueling conversations about Flavour’s relationships.
In 2020, reports emerged that Flavour had officially married Sandra, his first baby mama, in a private ceremony in Enugu. According to sources, strict measures were taken to prevent photos or videos from being leaked online. Flavour’s marriage to Sandra was subtly confirmed by her sister, Bella Okagbue, during her time on Big Brother Naija, where she disclosed personal details about her family.
