Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo remains unfazed in her ongoing feud with fans of May Edochie, the estranged wife of her colleague, Yul Edochie.
The actress recently opened up about facing harsh backlash after a robbery attack on her son, with May’s supporters mocking her and calling it karma for her association with Yul’s second wife, Judy Austin.
Uche shared that she had to block May Edochie on social media due to relentless attacks from her fanbase, claiming that May seemingly enjoyed the chaos. In response, Uche declared that these fans, no matter how toxic, could never compare to the infamous intensity of Wizkid’s FC, advising them to stop engaging with her content. She also emphasized the baselessness of the accusations against her, challenging May’s supporters to present evidence of any wrongdoings.
“There is no proof that I was ever mean to May or anyone else. Stop accusing and insulting innocent people,” Uche declared on Instagram. She prayed for divine intervention, wishing karma upon those who have falsely accused her. Despite the online animosity, she remains confident that God will vindicate her.
Uche has faced significant challenges recently, including a robbery at her clothing store, resulting in losses of nearly fifty million naira. The actress expressed frustration with the security company she hired, accusing them of conspiring with the police to cover up the crime. She revealed in an emotional live session that her attempts to get justice have been thwarted.
In related news, Judy Austin, Yul Edochie’s second wife, shared a video showering prayers and affection on her husband, calling him her “king” and promising eternal love. This public display received mixed reactions, with some fans condemning the relationship and others defending Judy.
Self-proclaimed relationship expert Blessing CEO also weighed in, subtly shading May’s fans and suggesting that men should leave their wives if they aren’t receiving the same admiration as Yul from Judy. Blessing’s comments stirred further controversy, with social media users expressing a range of opinions.
Despite the criticism, Yul Edochie and Judy Austin continue to share their relationship openly, even taunting their detractors with posts. Yul recently stated that he plans to keep posting about their love to annoy those who disapprove, emphasizing their defiance in the face of public scrutiny.
