Nigerian dancehall singer Cynthia Morgan, now known as Madrina, has taken to social media to mock Paul Okoye (Rudeboy) over the lack of success of his song, “Vitamin D.”
In a series of posts on her Instagram story, Madrina expressed her surprise that despite the song being “mid,” she had still expected it to perform well. She sarcastically commented on how the video remains stuck at 500,000 views after two months, suggesting that Nigerians are now prioritizing quality music over mediocrity.
Cynthia added that her “God isn’t sleeping” and predicted that all her enemies would eventually face defeat.
“A Rude boy song still on 500k after 2 months. God no dey sleep! All my enemies must fold,” she wrote.
This isn’t the first time Cynthia Morgan has had harsh words for Paul Okoye and his family. Earlier in the year, she accused the Okoye brothers, including Jude, of ruining people’s lives and careers.
She detailed how she once helped their former driver, Stanley, by giving him money to document his property after years of being left empty-handed by the brothers. Cynthia also mentioned other individuals, including Papi J, Wande, and their brother Tony, who she claimed were victims of the Okoyes’ actions.
Cynthia Morgan’s issues with the Okoye family trace back to her time under their record label, Northside Entertainment, which was managed by Jude Okoye. She has accused Jude of taking over her social media accounts, stripping her of her stage name, and owing her N7 million. Jude has repeatedly denied these allegations, even mocking Cynthia in the past. He once sarcastically tweeted about how everyone, including Dangote, supposedly owed him billions.
Paul Okoye, in a previous Instagram live session, distanced himself from Cynthia, claiming she was never his artiste but Jude’s. He expressed frustration that she was still dragging him into her grievances and sarcastically wished her a quick recovery. This further angered Cynthia, who called him out for his audacity and reminded him of unresolved matters, such as unpaid dues for a feature she had done for him and his then-girlfriend.
Cynthia Morgan has also shed light on the challenges she faced during her fallout with the Okoye family. She described enduring difficult times, such as surviving on noodles for meals while the public believed she was wealthy. Despite the passage of time, it is clear that the animosity between Madrina and the Okoye brothers remains intense.
