Nigerian music executive Collins Ajereh, better known as Don Jazzy, recently shared his feelings about his single status in a heartfelt Instagram post.
The Mavin Records CEO expressed his disappointment at not having a partner for a challenge he wanted to do, revealing that it hurt him deeply.
“Suspect wants to do suspect challenge but no suspect partner. Ok, goodnight. It hurts,” Don Jazzy wrote on his Instagram story, revealing his frustration and sense of longing.
As expected, social media users quickly reacted to his post, with many speculating about his sexuality. One user, Chi_babeee69, commented, “When you’re gay nko?” while another, Unemployed_charles, jokingly added, “Bro is g3y low-key, no longer talks.” Others chimed in with mixed responses, some humorously suggesting that Don Jazzy should use one of his Mavin crew members for the challenge, while others speculated about his preferences in relationships.
One comment from Chiefchimex raised the question, “Nigeria has beautiful ladies and women, hard to understand that suspect can’t find just one partner.” The post sparked lively discussions among fans, many of whom have long been curious about the mogul’s personal life.
This isn’t the first time Don Jazzy has addressed his relationship status. Back in June, after attending the wedding of music star Davido, Don Jazzy spoke openly about why he remains unmarried. He mentioned that he is working on himself, and when the time is right, he will be in a position to offer his future partner the best of him.
In a more humorous moment last year, Don Jazzy caused a stir when he shared a wedding invitation from an unknown woman claiming to have married him. Perplexed, Don Jazzy jokingly said he missed his own wedding, adding to the ongoing speculation about his love life.
Earlier interviews have also shed light on Don Jazzy’s history with relationships. He admitted that he’s not the type to stay faithful to just one woman and revealed that his devotion to his music career negatively impacted his previous marriage to American model Michelle Jackson. They married when Don Jazzy was just 20 years old, but the marriage ended two years later, with both parties acknowledging that his music career played a major role in the breakup.
Fans continue to support Don Jazzy, with some even jokingly offering solutions for his single status, but the Mavin boss remains a topic of intrigue in the Nigerian music scene.
