Nollywood actress Ruby Ojiakor has started the year on a joyous note, announcing her engagement to her partner, Moc Madu, who is also an actor and filmmaker.
Sharing a heartfelt video on Instagram, Ruby revealed her excitement and gratitude for this milestone in her life.Ruby took to her Instagram page to celebrate the moment she said “Yes” to the love of her life. Expressing deep gratitude to God, she dedicated the engagement to her Maker and quoted the Bible:
“It’s not of him that willeth, nor runneth, but of God that showeth mercy.”
She revealed that the surprise proposal was orchestrated by unexpected people in her life, leaving her deeply moved.
Her touching caption read:
“It’s a YESSSSSSSSSSSSS to the Love of my life, @mocmadu. YES TO MY LORD, YES TO GREATNESS, YES TO ALL-ROUND BLESSINGS, YES TO FOREVER. Thank you JESUS CHRIST. We dedicate everything to you, oh LORD.”

This engagement comes after a year of blessings for Ruby Ojiakor. In July 2024, she celebrated purchasing a brand-new car, crediting her Maker for her achievements. The actress dedicated the car to Mother Mary and expressed gratitude for divine blessings.
