Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo and popular influencer Enioluwa have touched down in Tanzania ahead of Priscilla Ojo’s wedding to her Tanzanian fiancé, Juma Jux.
In a viral video making the rounds online, Iyabo, Enioluwa, and Iyabo’s best friend, Shantiz, were spotted on a flight to Tanzania. Upon their arrival, the group received a warm and festive welcome at the airport.
A traditional Tanzanian music band awaited their arrival and began drumming and singing in their native language as soon as the entourage landed. True to her vibrant personality, Iyabo Ojo danced to the melodies while being presented with a bouquet, traditional wrappers, and other gifts.
It was reported last year that Priscilla Ojo would marry the Tanzanian singer this year. Iyabo Ojo had expressed excitement about her daughter’s wedding plans, sharing that she always wished for Priscilla to marry early. Speaking in an interview with Biola Bayo, Iyabo described Juma Jux as a family-oriented man and revealed that a private family introduction had already taken place.
The traditional and church weddings will be held in Nigeria, while another ceremony is set to take place in Tanzania.
This isn’t the first public display of love between Priscilla and Juma Jux. In August, Priscilla hosted Juma Jux in Nigeria for his birthday, where he received a warm welcome from the Ojo family. Iyabo Ojo officially welcomed him into their family, declaring her love for him and emphasizing how the Ojos embrace extravagance.
Iyabo’s desire for her daughter to marry young comes as no surprise. Last year, she expressed her wish for Priscilla to follow in her footsteps by marrying early and starting a family. However, the actress clarified that she wouldn’t pressure her daughter, respecting Priscilla’s independence while celebrating her upcoming marriage.
