Popular Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday (NBS) has expressed frustration over persistent messages from young men offering to be her sugar boy. In a candid video shared on her Instagram, the curvy actress addressed the unsolicited applications, stating that she is not a sugar mummy and finds such behavior highly irritating.
Nkechi revealed that her WhatsApp has been flooded with messages from boys promising to “service her well” in exchange for being her sugar boy. Initially ignoring the issue, the actress noted that the silence only encouraged more messages. Unable to change her phone number, she decided to address the matter publicly, laying heavy curses on those sharing her contact details for such purposes.
She vented:
Guys, there is something that has been bothering me for the past few months. I wanted to let it slide, but because I kept quiet, it has been going on, and I am not finding it funny anymore. I receive messages from people applying to be my sugar boy and promising to service me. It is very irritating and annoying.To whoever is sharing my number with people for sugar mummy purposes, anything you lay your hands on this year wouldn’t prosper. As I dey like this, I dey find person wey go help my life. I be like sugar mummy to you?”
Nkechi further clarified that she is not a sugar mummy and, in fact, joked about seeking a “sugar daddy” herself. She emphasized her focus on finding someone to help improve her life, not the other way around.The actress, who has consistently championed independence, previously stated that her goal is not to marry a rich man but to become a rich wife. Known for her hard work and resilience, Nkechi sees financial compatibility in a partner as a plus rather than a necessity.
