Nigerian content creator and comedian Sabinus has shared a private conversation with a blogger who apologized for posting false information about him. This comes amid swirling rumours about his personal life, including allegations of a marital crisis.
Sabinus revealed via his Facebook page a message from the blogger, who pleaded for forgiveness after spreading false news. The blogger admitted that the damaging post was made as a joke and claimed to be a fan of Sabinus. He also expressed regret, stating he was ashamed of his actions and promised to support Sabinus by buying tickets to his show.
In his apology, the blogger explained that he was working toward starting his own content creation journey, calling himself Sabinus’ “biggest fan” and regularly promoting his content.Sabinus expressed frustration at the growing trend of bloggers using defamation and blackmail to gain attention. He called for accountability, urging bloggers to provide evidence before posting allegations.
The rate at which bloggers condemn, tarnish, disfigure, defame, slander, and blackmail to get massive attention nowadays is highly alarming, and I think it’s high time it stopped!!! Imagine what Afrocania wrote about me without video evidence, picture evidence, or even voice note evidence, and people are quick to believe it.”
He emphasized that celebrities are human and deserve fair treatment, cautioning against the harmful consequences of unfounded accusations. This incident comes amid ongoing rumors about Sabinus’ marriage to Ciana. Reports claim their union of less than three years has faced challenges due to alleged infidelity and neglect. The couple has reportedly unfollowed each other on social media, adding fuel to the speculation.
In the past, the couple has faced similar rumors. Last year, allegations of domestic abuse circulated, which Ciana and Sabinus both denied. Ciana dismissed the claims, questioning how Sabinus could physically harm her when they live in separate countries, with her residing in the UK and him in Nigeria.Sabinus and Ciana held a private introduction ceremony in September 2022 at her parents’ home in Lagos. By April 2023, they welcomed their first child, although the couple chose to keep the baby’s gender private.
