Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has fired back at an unnamed individual who allegedly belittled her profession. In a fiery Instagram post, the actress emphasized her pride in her legitimate business, which earns her between ₦5 million and ₦10 million monthly.

Martins criticized the notion of equating her success to those who rely on unethical means to fund their lifestyles. She affirmed her commitment to hard work and dismissed comparisons to individuals living a façade.

Doing my legit peanut business, as you call it, and making 5 – 10m monthly (the least) gives me more respect than opening my legs for people’s husbands to sponsor a fake life,” she wrote.

She also addressed criticisms about her choice of car, stating that while she could afford a more luxurious vehicle, it is not a priority for her.

Martins declared herself a “legit hustler” and warned against gossiping about her. She hinted that she has received evidence of derogatory remarks from mutual acquaintances.

Sarah Martins has consistently defended her integrity in the face of criticisms and controversies.

Last year, she lashed out at a male colleague who made inappropriate remarks about her. Also, she once called out a married woman who accused her of being a side chic, clarifying that she doesn’t meddle in others’ relationships. In March, Martins shared an incident where she slapped a married man who made inappropriate advances toward her, reinforcing her stance on decency and respect.

Martins continues to focus on her business and avoid unnecessary drama, proving that her hustle speaks louder than her critics.
