Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has taken to Instagram to celebrate his pregnant wife, Judy Austin, whom he described as the “most beautiful heavily pregnant woman in Africa.” Sharing a video of Judy flaunting her baby bump, Yul referred to her as “Ijele Odogwu,” a term of endearment reflecting her strength and beauty.
Earlier this year, the couple announced their third pregnancy, sharing the unborn child’s name in an Instagram post. Yul, in his playful manner, likened his procreation skills to those of football legend Ronaldo and expressed his desire to have five more children with Judy.
The actor also revealed his hope for a baby girl, having previously pleaded with Judy to bless him with a daughter as beautiful as their second son. In return, he promised to fulfill any wish she had.
Yul didn’t hold back as he addressed those who criticized him over his marital choices. In a fiery Instagram post, the actor claimed that many of his critics are now suffering due to their interference in his private matters.
Some have lost their marriages, careers, and are now online beggars,” Yul said, warning that more suffering awaits those who refuse to apologize for attacking him.
He further described himself as “special to God” and cautioned others against meddling in his affairs, insisting that their hardships are self-inflicted.
Yul’s marriage to Judy Austin became a hot topic after he revealed their union in 2023, a move that led to the end of his 18-year marriage to May Edochie. Following the separation, May filed for divorce, seeking ₦100 million in damages from Judy and a restraining order against Yul.
Last year, Yul publicly criticized May, accusing her of undergoing cosmetic surgeries without his consent and mourning their late son while allegedly in a relationship with another man.
Judy Austin, on her part, refuted claims that she had been unfaithful in her previous marriage, asserting that her first union ended in 2013 before meeting Yul.
