Former Big Brother Naija housemate and actress, Bamike Olawunmi Adenibuyan, popularly known as Bambam, has celebrated her remarkable achievements at the 11th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) Cultural Day.
Taking to Instagram, she expressed her gratitude for the opportunity, describing the event as a vibrant celebration of Africa’s diverse cultures and traditions.
“Honoured to have hosted Onga at the AMVCA Cultural Day. It was a beautiful celebration of Africa! Every tribe, culture, and tradition was proudly on display. Yours truly represented the rich heritage of Ghana with this stunning look.”
Bambam’s elegant representation of Ghana’s rich cultural heritage earned her a nomination for the Best Dressed Female category. Although she didn’t win, the actress congratulated the winners and expressed her joy for being recognized.
In her heartfelt post, Bambam extended her gratitude to filmmaker Omoni Oboli for believing in her talent. She credited Omoni for giving her a platform to shine as an actor, highlighting the value of support, passion, and relentless pursuit of excellence.
“Thank you for seeing me and giving me a platform as an actor. God’s favour, passion, and support got us here. Love and admiration always.”
Bambam has come a long way from her challenging upbringing with strict parents who initially doubted her career path. Her decision to join Big Brother Naija proved to be a turning point, earning her success and eventually her parents’ support.
Her journey has also extended beyond entertainment. Recently, Bambam won admiration for helping a suicidal mother of three while filming for Omoni Oboli’s movie, calling for support to provide rehabilitation for the woman and her children.
