Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has publicly slammed her ex-boyfriend, popularly known as Oil Money, for allegedly trying to get back with her despite their breakup.
Last month, Angela had announced the end of her relationship with Oil Money, vowing not to flaunt any romantic relationship on social media until she gets married. The actress revealed that she left him due to his philandering behavior and noted that he has been persistently pestering her even after she blocked him on all platforms.
Angela recently shared messages as proof of him begging for reconciliation after slandering her name. She disclosed that he has been sending intermediaries to plead with her, but she has firmly declined all attempts.
The single mother described her ex as a pathological and compulsive liar, a complete narcissist, and full of deception. She further accused him of spreading false stories about her and fabricating lies to damage her reputation.
In a stern message to her ex, Angela stated:
As you are aware, I broke up with you months ago. After I found out that you are a pathological liar, a compulsive liar, and a complete narcissist, also full of deception, you are going about speaking ill about me with some fake blogs. You are also lying that your family dislikes me. In all honesty, I have never met any members of your family at all. Meanwhile, you have been sending people to me to plead on your behalf, but all to no avail because I completely declined and informed them about your negative motives towards me. And how you also went about defaming my character, up and down, fabricating lies as well.”
Angela emphasized her hard-earned success in her career spanning over two decades and warned Oil Money to stay away from her victories:
So you cannot come near to gain access to my victories, let alone sabotage it. So Mr Alafa ‘Oil Money’ or whatever you call yourself, I am informing you for the very last time to immediately cease and desist from posting any photographs of me on any social media, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat. So, I do not consent to continuing to disseminate my likeness in this matter. Your unauthorised and non-consensual posting of my photographs constitutes a violation of my privacy rights and may also constitute harassment, which is unlawful. This behaviour is highly unacceptable.”
Angela demanded that he remove all photos of her from social media and warned him to stop posting her pictures immediately. She concluded with a sharp reminder: “Go get a life. This is your final warning.”
Notably, in February, Angela had addressed her relationship publicly, calling out a popular Instagram blogger for spreading false narratives about her and asserting that she did not care about the negativity.
Earlier posts even showed happier moments between Angela and Oil Money, including a video of them appearing affectionate and stating that their love was growing stronger each day. However, things clearly took a different turn leading to their eventual split.
Angela Okorie continues to stand her ground firmly, protecting her name, career, and personal life from public distortion.
