Veteran Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson Okojie has heaped praises on her colleague, Blessing Obasi, for her outstanding acting abilities. Taking to her Instagram page, Mercy shared a clip of Blessing’s performance in a recent movie, describing her as a “powerful act.”
Mercy expressed her admiration for Blessing’s skill, stating,
I watched her, and I said, mhennnnn, people know this business jor… Have you watched our latest episode of Housemaids?”

A few weeks ago, Mercy promoted Funke Akindele’s movie Everybody Loves Jenifa alongside her daughter, Purity. Funke, in return, appreciated Mercy for her consistent support, praying for blessings upon her. Mercy responded by emphasizing that Funke deserved all the accolades and more.
Their camaraderie dates back to 2022 when Funke praised Mercy’s stellar performance in a project they worked on together. Funke described Mercy as a fantastic actress and shared how much fun it was working with her. Mercy reciprocated the sentiments, commending Funke for her humility, leadership, and mentorship on set.
