Nigerian businessman and philanthropist Olakunle Churchill has shut down rumours of marital issues with his actress wife, Rosy Meurer. Addressing the speculations, Churchill humorously questioned the source of the gossip while revealing that his family is currently in Disney Paris enjoying their summer vacation.
Taking to his Instagram page, Churchill dismissed the speculations with humor and sarcasm. Sharing that his wife and kids were enjoying a luxurious vacation in Disney Paris, he stated,
hear say I dey trend, who cook am? My family dey Disney Paris dey enjoy summer life. Una go wait until menopause come. Meh, I see you.”
Churchill further addressed the gossip, emphasizing that his wife, Rosy Meurer, doesn’t have staff or close friends who could be behind the rumors.
Since tying the knot with Rosy Meurer after his controversial divorce from actress Tonto Dikeh, Churchill’s marriage has been plagued with persistent rumors of infidelity and domestic violence.
In August 2023, Instagram blogger Gistlover alleged that the couple’s marriage was on the rocks due to infidelity and claimed Churchill had been physically abusive towards Rosy. The blog further alleged that Rosy, the breadwinner of the family, was enduring a troubled relationship behind the scenes.
In December of the same year, the couple faced another wave of allegations. The same blogger claimed Churchill was planning to take another wife, Lisa Yaro, and had been abusive toward Rosy over the matter. However, the couple responded to these rumors by celebrating the arrival of their second child and marking their fourth wedding anniversary with public displays of affection.
Despite the continuous rumors, Churchill and Rosy Meurer have consistently showcased their commitment to each other. Last year, they celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary, sharing heartfelt messages and videos capturing precious family moments.
Rosy reaffirmed her love and dedication to Churchill, promising him forever and describing their union as timeless. Meanwhile, Churchill also expressed his deep affection for his wife and their children in a series of touching posts.
