Nollywood actor Kunle Remi joined the ranks of proud fathers as he celebrated his first Father’s Day. Sharing an emotional moment with his daughter, the actor gave fans a glimpse into his new journey of fatherhood.
Kunle posted a video capturing the emotional moment his baby girl got her ears pierced. In the clip, the actor, visibly moved, held back tears as he comforted his daughter.
In his caption, he shared his sentiments:
“My new life! My heart is full.
Happy Father’s Day to all amazing fathers out there.
PS – We decided to get pierced today.
We are still friends.”
Kunle’s heartfelt post reflects his embrace of fatherhood and the joy it has brought to his life. Kunle Remi and his wife welcomed their daughter earlier this year in the US, just after New Year. In March, the couple confirmed the news via a YouTube video detailing their pregnancy journey and the birth of their daughter.
The actor has since shared numerous milestones with his fans, including celebrating their first Easter as a family. In April, Kunle posted a photo of his daughter lying on a Bible, humorously captioning it that she was “drooling at the promises of God.”
On Mother’s Day, Kunle expressed his admiration for his wife. Sharing a video of the family, he praised her for being an extraordinary woman and an amazing mother.
Despite the joy, Kunle has been candid about the struggles of being a new dad. Recently, he shared a video of the tiny heels his wife bought for their 5-month-old daughter, humorously asking how he could explain to his daughter that he had no part in the decision.
In another clip, Kunle showed the realities of multitasking as a father. Carrying his crying daughter, he jokingly lamented over having dishes to wash and editing work to complete.
