Veteran Nollywood actress Tola Oladokun has made a revelation that has shocked many — she has never kissed anyone in her life, not even her husband.
Tola Oladokun reveals she has never kissed in her life, a statement she boldly shared in a recent interview that’s now making waves across social media.
“You’re asking an old woman such a question. I don’t kiss, oo. I haven’t kissed in my life. If someone tries it with me, we will fight,” she said.
She further explained that not even her husband was allowed to kiss her, and as such, she wouldn’t tolerate it from anyone else.
“When even my husband can’t bring his lips to kiss me, and I agree, who will I now do such with?”
Her response, though surprising to many, was delivered with conviction and has drawn mixed reactions, from admiration of her values to sheer disbelief.
Tola Oladokun, widely respected in the Yoruba film industry, is known for her strong personality and traditional values, which have shaped both her personal life and her career.
In a separate interview, the actress had earlier praised her colleague Funke Akindele for playing a key role in reviving her acting journey. She recalled how she nearly missed an opportunity to work with the award-winning producer but was later given another shot, which opened new doors for her in the industry.
Meanwhile, Funke Akindele has also made headlines recently, though for a different reason. Actor Ijoba Lande had previously claimed that he was underpaid during a production with her. However, he later retracted his statement and apologised, saying his words were misinterpreted.
Funke also found herself in the news when actress Faithia Williams accused her of blocking her on Instagram over her support for Mercy Aigbe, making it clear she wasn’t fazed by the move.
