Emmanuel Obasi cries out over custody battle with Judy Austin, revealing he hasn’t seen his children in over 10 years and fears for their safety.
In a recent video making rounds online, the ex-husband of Nollywood actress Judy Austin poured out his pain, pleading with Nigerians to help him reconnect with the children he shares with her.
Obasi claimed that he and Judy were legally married and had three children together, but since their separation, she has cut off every form of communication and access to the kids. He said he has not set eyes on them in over a decade and doesn’t even know if they are alive.
“I don’t know if my children with Judy Austin are still alive. She has kept them away from me for over 10 years. Judy only posts the children she has with Yul Edochie; she doesn’t post mine. It’s suspicious. I’m calling on Nigerians to help me locate my kids.”
Obasi further alleged that Judy left their home and eloped with actor Yul Edochie, whom she was allegedly seeing while still married to him. According to Obasi, Judy’s family welcomed Yul without addressing the fact that she was still his wife at the time.
He recalled that he married Judy when she was 19 and spent heavily on her education and career. But things changed after she began a relationship with Yul. He claimed she left their home with the children after he refused to buy her a house in Enugu. Even after reporting the matter to her parents, nothing was done, and since then, she’s allegedly kept the children hidden.
This is not the first time Obasi has gone public with his plea. In past videos, he accused Judy of abandoning the children they had together while focusing on her new life with Yul Edochie. He believes she’s using the children against him because she knows how much he loves them.
He also alleged there were attempts to silence him with money, but he refused, insisting all he wants is access to his children.
Judy Austin became a trending name after her relationship and marriage to Yul Edochie went public. At the time, Yul was still married to his first wife, May, with whom he shares four children. The affair shook the internet and led to a highly publicised separation, with May eventually filing for divorce and demanding N100 million in damages from Judy.
