Milkshake denies accusing Davido of cheating on Chioma, claiming her viral rants were misinterpreted and insisting she never mentioned the singer’s name.
In a surprising turn of events, social media influencer Milkshake has retracted her earlier claims involving Afrobeats superstar Davido and alleged side chic Jessie Awazie.
A few days ago, the internet erupted after Milkshake went on a fiery tirade, allegedly accusing Davido of cheating on his wife, Chioma Rowland, with her friend Jessie. She claimed Davido funded Jessie’s lavish lifestyle, gifting her a Birkin bag, putting her up in five-star hotels, and even sponsoring her business—all while reportedly paying ₦25 million to suppress a sex tape.
Milkshake went further to allege that Jessie had been involved with other celebrities like Burna Boy, Zoro, Shina Peller, and more—urging them to get medical tests.
However, in a shocking twist, Milkshake has now claimed innocence over the viral posts. Taking to her Snapchat, she stated that she never mentioned Davido’s name and is now facing threats over what she insists was a misunderstanding.
“It’s crãzy how far this has gone! I never mentioned Davido in any of my rants. That girl in question has many enemies waiting for this day to come. I was just dragging her for what she did to me,” she wrote.
She added that a third party had accessed one of her accounts and published damaging content under her name without her consent.
“Please, I’m not the one posting this on this account! This is not me! I added this person to plead, but they blocked me. I’ve been getting threats from people,” she explained.
“I’m not a coward. Jessie has a lot of enemies. I have no reason to hide under a fake account. I’ve been dragging Jessie with my real account.”
This is not the first time Davido has been linked to cheating scandals since rekindling his relationship with Chioma.
Earlier this year, just days before Chioma’s 29th birthday in April, U.S. model Bonita Maria posted intimate photos and videos of herself with Davido, sparking public outrage. She later clapped back at critics, defending her decision to speak out.
In 2023, while the couple were still grieving the tragic loss of their son, several women—most notably Anita Brown and Ivana Bay—came forward with bombshell claims about being romantically involved with Davido. Anita accused the singer of impregnating her, while Ivana shared alleged screenshots of their interactions.
Also in the mix was Kenyan socialite Pendo Stacy, who made bold statements about a supposed relationship with the singer. Nigerian lady Chisom added fuel to the fire by accusing Davido of forcing her to terminate a pregnancy with a promise of ₦10 million.
