Nollywood actress and producer Omoni Oboli is basking in the joy of grandmotherhood as she celebrates her granddaughter Naya’s first birthday. Taking to Instagram, Omoni shared a heartfelt message filled with gratitude and love for the little girl who has brought new light into their lives.
Our hearts are overflowing with joy,” she began. “The princess of the Oboli clan turned 1! I prayed and longed for you, and God brought you to us—the smartest, happiest, and most beautiful baby girl ever.”
The proud grandmother described Naya as her “mini-me” and God’s best gift to the family. She gushed about how privileged she feels to love and watch Naya grow. The birthday tribute was accompanied by adorable images, including Naya twinning with her uncle in a hot pink Corvette toy car—already cruising into toddlerhood in style.
Back in August 2024, Omoni had joyfully announced the arrival of her first grandchild. At the time, she described baby Naya as the perfect gift from God, sharing how the family was filled with gratitude for this new addition.
Just a week after the announcement, the actress gave her followers a glimpse of Naya, posting a touching video of herself gently strolling with the newborn.
Omoni’s journey into grandparenthood began when her son, Nnamdi, tied the knot with his lover, Marelle, in a quiet winter wedding held early last year.
