Nigerian influencer and fashion entrepreneur Sophia Momodu has shared a cryptic post addressing how the enemy uses shame to weaken people, stirring conversations online.
In an Instagram story, the mother of singer Davido’s first child wrote that shame is the number one tool used by the enemy and his followers. She added that once you take that tool away, they lose their power.
The enemy and his children (aka the accusers of man) love to use shame as their no 1 tool. You take that from them & they’re powerless,” Sophia shared.
This comes hours after Sophia blasted a fan who criticized her for blurring Davido’s name in response to another follower’s comment on Imade’s resemblance to her father. The fan called her “immature,” prompting Sophia to threaten to block them if they sent a similar message again.
Last month, Davido and Sophia reunited for the first time in two years to celebrate their daughter Imade’s 10th birthday. The singer attended the event with his family and 30BG crew, with clips showing Sophia, Davido, and Imade posing together.
Their relationship has been tense since Davido reconciled with and married Chioma Rowland. Following the wedding, Sophia went on a rant, accusing him of financial abuse and sharing cryptic posts about respect and boundaries.
In 2023, their conflict escalated into a custody battle when Davido filed for joint custody of Imade, accusing Sophia of denying him access and extorting him. Sophia opposed the request, citing concerns over the tragic death of Davido’s son and other reasons she felt made him unfit for sole custody.
