Media personality Toke Makinwa has opened up about the joy of sharing her pregnancy journey with her close friend and fashion designer, Toju Foyeh.
Posting a heartwarming clip of the two dancing with their baby bumps, Toke described it as a beautiful reminder that God always gives people exactly what they need. She revealed that she used to worry about being the oldest parent in the room and her child not having age-mates among her friends’ kids — but God had other plans.
Sharing this journey with my sister friend @tojufoyeh is a testament to the fact that God will always give you what you need,” she wrote. “Our kids get to grow together and do this thing called life with each other. Congratulations, my friend and sister Toju… Life just got better.”
Toke had earlier announced her pregnancy on Instagram, calling it the biggest project of her life and her highest calling. She shared that her 2025 declaration was to have a different year — and her prayers were answered.
The lifestyle entrepreneur also reflected on her past, including her openness to marriage again, even as a second, third or fourth wife, and her journey of self-acceptance after divorce. She has previously spoken about being single and childless at 40, choosing to focus on her achievements and the love in her life rather than societal pressure.
