Nigerian media personality Noble Igwe has opened up about why he chose Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and fashion designer Ogochukwu Okolo as godparents to his newborn son, Zane Somfenna Igwe.

A day after sharing photos from his son’s baptism on Instagram, where he proudly introduced Ebuka and Ogochukwu as godparents, Noble explained the special thought behind his decision.

According to him, the greatest gift any parent can give their child is to entrust them to stylish and grounded godparents before God.

“The greatest gift you can give a child is to hand them over to stylish godparents in the presence of God,” he wrote.

Noble revealed that long before baby Zane was born, he and his wife already knew Ebuka would be his godfather because they believed he was destined to raise “the biggest and most stylish young boy.”

To complement that, the couple chose Ogochukwu Okolo, a fashion designer, as Zane’s godmother — ensuring their little one would have both style and elegance around him.

“A stylish boy deserves an equally stylish godmother, so we gifted him a fashion designer as his stylish godmother,” Noble added.

He further noted that businessman Obinna Ajero also plays a role in Zane’s life, helping him become “street-smart,” a trait Noble humorously said every Aba boy’s son should have.

Introducing his son to the world, he wrote:

“With permission from the grandparents and Chairman, meet Zane Somfenna Igwe, a.k.a. Zaza, Baby Z, Hello Mister.”

In July, Noble announced that he and his wife were expecting their third child in a heartwarming video, and by August, he joyfully shared a clip of himself heading to the theatre, expressing excitement about welcoming his first son after two daughters.

Over the years, the media personality has never hidden his admiration for his wife. From celebrating her career milestones to calling her the “Chairman of all Chairmen,” Noble consistently praises her as the true boss of their home and his life.
