Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations.
Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, trial balances, and journal entries.
• Prepare the financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Analyze financial data and trends to identify variances, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing financial reporting and taxation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including management and department heads, to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
• Development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate risks.
• Conduct periodic audits of financial records and processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Provide support during external audits and regulatory inspections by preparing requested documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Stay informed about changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices, and recommend adjustments to financial processes and procedures.

Qualifications
- BSc in Accounting from a reputable university. This is compulsory
- 1 – 3 years work experience
- Experience working alone
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles.
