Nollywood actor Adeniyi Johnson has sparked reactions on social media after raising an alarm concerning his senior colleague, Afeez Owo.
In a light-hearted Instagram post, Johnson urged those close to Afeez to check on him, noting that it was “urgent.” He humorously linked the alarm to Afeez’s favorite football club, Manchester City, losing a recent match.

In response, Afeez Owo reassured fans in the comment section that he was unshaken despite his team’s loss.

However, Johnson’s post did not sit well with many fans, as the urgency in his tone initially caused alarm. Fans flooded the comment section expressing their concern before realizing the joke.

This isn’t the first time Adeniyi Johnson has stirred attention with his social media posts. A few weeks ago, the actor called out his colleague Habeeb Alagbe for a steamy kiss with Seyi Edun in a movie, questioning the audacity of the younger actor.
In the past, Johnson also urged fans to pray for Mercy Aigbe and her husband for their kindness towards him. Mercy Aigbe, in turn, praised Johnson for his reliability and described him as someone everyone needs in their corner.
