Nollywood actress Bimpe Akintunde, popularly known as Wasila Coded, has sent a stern message to her exes while celebrating her first wedding anniversary.
The married actress shared photos from a movie scene where she is seen holding a gun, dedicating the image to her past lovers. She expressed her disdain for the “fake lovers” who had come her way, despite her genuine love and support for them.
Bitterly cursing them in Yoruba, Bimpe also took the opportunity to appreciate her husband’s family and declared that she married right. She added that it was one year down and many more to go in her marriage.
“This is for every fake lover that came my way, whom I ever loved genuinely, showed real love, supported in my own little way. You will not prosper, your secrets will be exposed! Special thanks to all the Ganiyu Family for the love. May you never experience betrayal, and may you never be unfortunate. Alhamdulilai, I married right. God bless my husband more and more. Thank you all, my true lovers, for the congratulatory messages for our 1-year anniversary. One year down, forever to go, Insha Allah,” she wrote on Instagram.
In June 2023, Bimpe Akintunde married Yousuph O Ganiyu, a man with two wives, in a Nikai ceremony after being single for two years. She revealed that her husband had been in love with her long before they met, and she felt blessed to have found him.
Recently, Bimpe penned a heartfelt note to her husband, appreciating his intentionality and commitment. She shared that many men had made promises but couldn’t stand by their words, and she felt fortunate to have met a man like him.
Many men have said what you said to me but couldn’t stand by their words. I have never met a man like you, and I was blessed the day our paths crossed,” she expressed.
