Nollywood actress Biodun Okeowo, popularly known as Omoborty, has opened up about her wedding story and her journey to finding love and fulfillment.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, the actress reflected on her childhood dreams, the challenges she faced as a single mother, and the eventual blessings that transformed her life.
Biodun Okeowo shared her long-held dream of an intimate garden wedding in a white dress, a vision she often discussed with her late mother, a devout Christian. Her mother had hoped Biodun would marry with traditional rites and a bride price paid. However, life had other plans, and the actress expressed deep sorrow that her mother was not alive to witness her wedding day.
In her words:
“My biggest pain on my wedding day was that my mom wasn’t there to witness it. RIP, Mom! I miss you deeply, and no one can ever fill your void. The tears from you not being here anymore are tears I’m not sure will ever dry!”
Despite the challenges of being a single mother, including societal judgment and personal heartbreaks, Biodun Okeowo emphasized that God rewrote her story. She celebrated her two children as her greatest blessings and expressed gratitude for finding the man of her dreams and the family she had longed for.
Using her journey as a testament to hope and resilience, she encouraged others:
“No matter how dark the tunnel may seem, there’s always light at the end. I pray for everyone crying out to God for a change. He will rewrite your story, and your testimony shall be permanent!”
She reflected on her past heartbreaks and challenges, acknowledging that God’s timing is always perfect. Through her testimony, she urged her fans and followers to remain steadfast in their faith, believing that their desires and prayers will eventually be answered.
