Popular Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, widely known as Bobrisky, has sparked reactions online with a heartfelt birthday tribute to his former best friend, actress Tonto Dikeh.
Despite their tumultuous past, Bobrisky shared warm wishes to mark Tonto’s 40th birthday, fueling discussions about the possibility of reconciliation.
Taking to Instagram, Bobrisky celebrated Tonto’s milestone, reminiscing about their five years of friendship. He expressed gratitude for witnessing her 40th celebration and showered her with prayers and well wishes, stating:
“Congratulations on hitting the 4th floor. Wishing you blessings and joy always.”
The heartfelt post prompted a fan to urge Bobrisky to avoid rekindling past disputes with Tonto. Responding gracefully, Bobrisky redirected the fan’s focus to celebrating Tonto’s birthday, saying:
“Just wish her happy birthday, dear.”
Bobrisky and Tonto Dikeh once shared a close bond, often seen together at public events and supporting each other on social media. However, their friendship dissolved in 2020 after a series of public feuds.
In 2022, Bobrisky claimed Tonto owed him N5 million and accused her of living a “fake life.” He alleged that she encouraged him to bully her rivals. In 2023, Bobrisky admitted he missed Tonto and blamed their fallout on their mutual temperaments.
